8 Steps to Achieve Success

Achievement is Success

What if someone said to you that your Achievement was an accomplishment for Success.  What would that mean to you?  We are all seeking Success in something in our lives.  The issue is that many times, we are not sure how to achieve it, or where to go to get it. Well, today I will lay out steps for you to achieve success.

1. You must first have the Desire to succeed.  When we have a desire for something that we do not presently have available to us, we must find a way to achieve it. The Bible tells us to “Take delight in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4.

2. Now that you have a strong desire to succeed, form a mental image of that desire or situation that you have the desire to succeed. Whether it’s a visible image like a new car, or owning your own home, remember the words that the Lord has promised. “Now unto him who is able to do immeasurable – more than all we can ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.” Ephesians 3:20.

3. The next step is to Set your Goal.  Your Imagination along with your goal will overlap, because after you desire something, you must then form the image of that desire in your mind and then set it as a goal.

4. This is probably the most important of them all. Write it down!  Writing it down will allow you to refer back to it often. Goals can become vague after a period of time. Remember, God has already laid it out for you.  He says,  “I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus”. Philippians 3:14.

5. Now that you have your goal in place, put faith and belief to work for you. Remember, “According to your faith, it will be done unto you”. And you must believe that you will have what you desire. “now faith is the confidence you have in what you have hoped for and the assurance about what you do not see.”

6. Take action.  Get busy and get out of your comfort zone.  Once you set your goal and hold that image before you, you must willfully step out in faith.  Remembering that , “You Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.” – Matthew 6:34. Your faith and your action must work together, and your faith is made complete by what you do”. James 2:22.

7. This is the step that most of us would love to forget, but we must Give.  Giving is a must to you receiving.  This is the law of the universe. And it work the same in business.  When you give a product or a service in order to receive compensation.  “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap.  For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” – Luke 6:38. Likewise, if you want love, you must first give love. “Love c overs over all wrongs.” – Proverbs 10:12.

8. Finding Success through Receiving:  There must be no feeling or guild or unworthiness.  If so, there must be forgiveness – either for you or toward others. You must have a good self-image, or you will unconsciously sabotage your goals.  “For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds and to the one who knocks, the door will be open.” – Matthew 7:8.
